there's nothing poetic in the way I feel about you I could rhyme one million times but none of it would be true time and time again I'm left fucking my hand there's something pathetic in the way you make my eyes shine bright enough to outglow all these city lights and I think you'd say yes but that's just a guess I'm so sure of myself nothing else

let’s go outside and see what it’s like living our lives i was never too bright at least in your eyes but the sound of running water kept me up all night so don’t leave the light on the moon will shine the way yesterday is gone but i’m here talking out loud don’t be so proud another face in the crowd lights go down dim is that really him? worship is a sin cicadas still shriek somewhere in a dream how proudly they sing coming of age attracting their mates they just want to get laid and the rivers ran with orange soda and the trees sprouted licorice sweet taste of sugar on my lips eclipsed

why do i still feel the same after all this time why does everything taste the same on days like today? I crossed the line for the hundred and fortieth time you thought I would have learned by now but I’m not surprised to find what’s inside the deepest part of my mind forgot to press record, now all my pleas will be ignored if i sing out tune just know that I was still singing about you i’m all out of drugs to do and I don’t have a clue what to do with the rest of my night or the rest of my life should i go out and see the world like everybody thinks I should i’d rather stay here in bed and read another book

about

foxes in london was originally a collection of mostly iphone recorded junk I released in march 2014. I recently decided to revamp/shorten it to remove fluff and replace them with a couple tracks I released shortly thereafter as a single. so I guess this is foxes in london the redux.

tracks 1 and 4 recorded on a neat lil panasonic handheld tape recorder (RIP)
tracks 2 and 5 recorded on my iphone
track 3 recorded on a yamaha 4-track
